Depression & Anxiety are some of the most common reasons for seeking therapy. Regardless of diagnosis, symptoms may consist of overwhelming feelings of sadness or nervousness, apathy, sleep & diet changes, feeling 'out of sync' with yourself, questioning life transitions, relationships, or career path. Personal losses can cause or trigger depressive episodes, including the loss of a loved one or pet.
Working with a wide range of mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma, I focus on facilitating awareness and insight in order to create a new story of strength and resilience, gaining perspective on symptoms, root causes, and/or managing diagnosis.
I particularly enjoy working with teens and young people ages 16-25, this developmental time period (which is now referred to as Transitional Aged Youth, or TAY) is often overlooked and underserved.
